Chris Haines

Chris lives near Cambridge, England and is a qualified music therapist and a freely improvising guitarist.  Having studied composition academically he now finds the communicative ability of improvising in the moment a liberating and therapeutic phenomena.  Chris enjoys listening to a wide range of music spanning many genres but has a particular fascination for music that walks the fine line between free tonality/atonality and more traditional forms.

Thanks for the review of my new book Chris. I thought it was pretty fair...which makes a change! Thought you might be interested in some of my Soundcloud stuff: it's very varied, all improvised, and a couple of pieces are with my old mate Veryan: enjoy! And thanks again.
