Breaking News ...

We've gotten our hands on news of an exciting upcoming collaboration that may prove to be one of the best and most promising of 2015. In a turn that may have critics wondering if she has finally sold out, songstress Katy Perry, it seems, may be collaborating with free jazz heavy weights Peter Brötzmann, Eve Risser, Mats Gustafsson, Ingebrigt Håker Flaten, Keiji Haino, the group Konstrukt and many more on a reworking of her 2013 album Prism, one of the most under-estimated pieces of art in pop history. Once asked by us to name a musician people would be surprised he listened to, Brötzmann said: “Katy Perry! Her latest album is a treasure chest of true pop gems. If she asked me about a collaboration I wouldn’t say no.” A confidential source from Perry’s studio leaked a track from the recording sessions which is what we believe a reworking of her smash hit Roar revealing the saxophonist at the top of his art, in a brilliant game of trading fours with Perry's scintillating scat. We will keep you posted …

Love it. Perhaps she'll help Brotz with some breathing in and out exercises.

At last. Recognition of Perry's true talents Go Katy and Pete!

"It was Katy's treasure chest that persuaded me to work with her" Brotz is alleged to have said.

Fireworks. Machine Guns. What more can a discerning free jazz lover want?

my personal vocal-supergroup:

Helene Fischer, soprano (vocals+dancing)
Keiji Haino, alto (vocals+acting)
Junko, ultrasoprano (vocals+standing)

I adore them all! Let's bring them together!

Those who don't speak German don't might not know Helene Fischer, Zuckerwurzel. If they do, they know that you are right.

My vocal supergroup would be
Maja Ratkje
Céline Dion
Yamatsuka Eye

But the cooperation Groucho mentioned looks very promising, too.

I know an extended edition of Áine O'Dwyer's Music For Church Cleaners Vol I & II will be released later this year. It will include also the previously unedited four-hands parts with David Hasseloff. Just rejoice!
