Music Blackout Tuesday

It would be presumptive to say that we are a part of the music industry, but we would like to support this day of reflection. Read more about Music Blackout Tuesday here.

Also, the following is a message from ESP-Disk's Steve Holtje that captures the moment well:
ESP-Disk’ founder Bernard Stollman began his legal career working for civil rights lawyer Florynce Kennedy. Throughout his life he was openly politically radical. Were he still alive, he would be deeply concerned with the Black Lives Matter movement and the current turmoil in the wake of the murder of George Floyd. So when we became aware of the music industry drive to make this Tuesday, June 2, a business blackout “day to disconnect from work and reconnect with our community,” we knew we had to participate.

Therefore, ESP-Disk will be closed on Tuesday. Furthermore, all proceeds from ESP’s Bandcamp pages and espdisk.com sales on Tuesday will be donated to the Know Your Rights Camp Legal Defense Initiative (Colin Kaepernick's charity: https://www.si.com/nfl/2020/05/29/colin-kaepernick-george-floyd-protests).
